Crimson & Co is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Williams. He joins as a Principal to advise senior teams across Crimson & Co’s global client base, primarily in the drinks sector.
Simon has over twenty-five years’ experience across the supply chain. During his career he has held senior roles at leading organisations such as Accolade Wines, Avon Cosmetics and Allied Domecq Spirits and Wines. He has a track record of delivering results and sustained change via strong team leadership, program management and change management skills.
Working with senior leadership teams, Simon will focus on helping Crimson & Co’s drinks clients improve efficiency and effectiveness both regionally and internationally.
Increasingly, companies are looking to optimise their supply chains to improve business performance. This is particularly the case at the board level. As part of his responsibilities, Simon will work with C-level execs to help drive change through a combination of processes, consultation and coaching designed to enhance performance across the supply chain.
Simon commented: “The supply chain discipline is going through a major change and more than ever this is recognised at board level. If you look at the drinks industry growth in developing markets, coupled with strengthening distribution channels, there are huge opportunities to catapult local brands onto the international stage. Sales and marketing are critical to this, but it is increasingly recognised that the supply chain, including having the right people and processes in place, is crucial to deliver growth. For a firms’ supply chain to be successful you need to ensure people, processes and systems are aligned and supported by productive and flexible relationships with suppliers who share the urge to improve and grow.
“I have been watching Crimson & Co’s tremendous growth and ambition for a number of years and I’m delighted that I now have the opportunity to work with this incredibly energised and ambitious team to further develop the business.”
Richard Powell, CEO of Crimson & Co commented: “We are very excited that Simon has agreed to join us. His knowledge and experience in both the supply chain and the drinks sector is second to none and will be hugely valuable to our clients. One of our major points of differentiation is the quality of our consultants, and the appointment of Simon reaffirms our commitment to delivering the best for our clients.
