We are delighted to announce that our consultant, Emma Ross, was a finalist for The Rising Star of the year award at the Women in Logistics UK Awards 2015.
The award is for those aged 30 and under, whose achievements in logistics or supply chain outstrip their experience.
Emma was nominated for her work supporting young people within The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), where Emma helped form the young professionals international forum whose aim is to engage and involve young professionals by creating an environment that is meaningful and supportive of younger members keen to develop their careers. Emma was also nominated for her previous role improving productivity and culture in unionised environment with Tesco.
The event took place on June 26th in Leicestershire. The day began with a conference on “Managing Risk in the Supply Chain”, and was followed by a Charity ball and awards evening held at the Hinckley Island Hotel.
Emma didn’t take the winning spot, but congratulations to Lieutenant Charlotte Edwards who won the award for leading her team of 30 soldiers to Sierra Leone in response to the Ebola Crisis.
We are very proud of Emma and are privileged to have her as one of our consultants.
