Client Alumni Event – The Goring Hotel - November 2014

Thank you to all of our guests at our client alumni event for making it such a success.

Speaker: Professor Michael Lewis

Discussion: In a world of cross-business processes, matrix management, category segmentation and global diversity, is functional strategy still relevant?

Location: The Goring Hotel, London

Crimson & Co held its winter Client Alumni dinner at the Goring hotel on Thursday 13th November. The event was extremely well attended by a number of clients across a variety of industry sectors. It was warming to see familiar faces as well as some new faces to this event.

Our guest speaker Professor Michael Lewis from Bath University delivered an energetic and lively discussion on the topic of functional strategy and its relevance in a world of cross-business processes, matrix management, category segmentation and global diversity. We talked triangles and T-shapes to discuss the interface with organisation, strategy and people and how these support a functional strategy.

A big thank you goes out to Mike for his enthusiasm and passion on the subject and to all those who were able to attend this event. We look forward to seeing you all next year at the spring dinner in May 2015!

If you would like to know more about this subject please start a discussion on our LinkedIn page or contact Michael Lewis by email on mal20@management.bath.ac.uk.
