Discussion: The truth behind global instability, its impact on emerging markets and supply chain vulnerability
Location: Dartmouth House, Mayfair, London

Crimson & Co held its latest client alumni dinner on 22nd November at Dartmouth House in Mayfair, the grade II listed home of the English Speaking Union. Crimson & Co’s client alumni is an invite-only network for clients and former clients designed to foster supply chain leadership.

The evening was well attended by clients from 15 different companies across a variety of sectors and the pre-dinner discussion was led by our guest speaker, Phil Thornton, a renowned business journalist with the Independent and now heading up his own business, Clarity Economics.

Phil spoke knowledgeably on, “The truth behind global instability, its impact on emerging markets and supply chain vulnerability”. He provided insights on the current economic climate, its impact on emerging marketing and how the middle classes are expanding greatly in China and India, generating more and more demand and a rise in expectations. There was also much discussion around the Euro and how this might evolve in the future and its impact on day to day business.

The evening was rounded off by a fabulous dinner influenced by the great teaching chef Prue Leith. We would like to thank all our guests for such positive feedback, we will be announcing the details of our next event shortly.

A huge thank you goes out to all of our guests at our recent Champagne, Wine and Food Tasting evening for making it such a lively and successful evening!

Set at the top of the historical Shakespeare’s Globe, on the banks of the River Thames, the Crimson & Co team was joined by partners, friends, suppliers and clients as it celebrated its continued success.

The champagne and wines were decadent and enjoyable but, the highlight was the playful food show and lively band.

Thank you to all of our guests at our client alumni event for making it such a success.

Speakers: Richard Powell and John Sewell
Discussion: Supply Chain Segmentation – from academic dreams to practical action
Location: The Ritz, London

Following on from the success of our client alumni event in November, Crimson & Co hosted an alumni event at The Ritz on Thursday 21st June 2012 in London. Crimson & Co’s client alumni is an invite-only network for clients and former clients designed to foster supply chain leadership.

It was a terrific evening hosted in the sumptuous surroundings of the William Kent room at The Ritz. Principal John Sewell’s discussion on segmentation generated many interesting questions and, with the occasional use of content-rich ‘playing cards’ to expand on key points, solutions were discussed and debated within the group.

We would like to thank all our guests for such positive feedback, we will be announcing the details of our next event shortly.
