Product returnsThe client was growing rapidly and was experiencing high volumes of returned product. Crimson & Co was employed to investigate the perceived high level of product returns and assess the optimal supply chain structure for the business going forward. The Crimson & Co team carried out root cause and trend analysis, analysed product and category profitability and built a supply chain model to simulate the various future options. The team was then able to demonstrate where the client was losing money on returns and how the supply chain could be reconfigured to reduce both the cost and volume of returns.
